Small owner name stamp on the front fly, boards a bit soiled and foxed, and a short tear to one page, a very good or better copy in a very good dustwrapper with some foxing, short tears and lacking the bottom 1" from the thin spine. Not beautiful, but an exceptionally scarce wartime children's book.
