15th Annual Philadelphia Book Show
First edition. Cloth, issued without dustwrapper. Fine. A hardcover program for a show meant to promote and rate the design of books published by the Philadelphia new book trade. One of the few works of fiction displayed that year was Walter M. Miller, Jr.'s A Canticle for Leibowitz, published by Lippincott. The book commands a full page, and specifications are given for the paper, cloth, design, etc., and rated a score of 88.8, enough to give it second place in the fiction category. A curiosity.
