Between the Covers

Unbound. Nine gelatin silver photographs. Round images 3.5" in diameter mounted on 4.25" x 5.25" thick card. Almost certainly Kodak No. 2 images, but with no backmarks. A few flaws in the negatives. but overall very near fine. Nine very nice images of a family on the beach at Atlantic City. Captions on the verso of three identifying Atlantic City, some of those pictured by first names only, and dated in August of 1900. Mostly of a large family in bathing costumes on the beach around or near canvas covered tent-like wooden structures with folding chairs and wooden swings, one image show an older couple on the beach in full street dress. Very pleasing beach images.
