Unbound. Pen and ink original on thick board. Measuring 14¼" 9¾". Fine. Image of two men at the height of battle, one strongly resembling Flash Gordon. Jim Raymond was the longtime assistant and later primarily artist on the *Blondie* comic strip. This image is rendered in the style of his brother Alex Raymond, creator of *Flash Gordon* who he assisted on Alex's lesser known adventure strip *Jungle Jim*. This drawing was part of a collection of artwork given to the son of an artist that worked with King Syndicate Feature in the 1930s and 1940s. A nice image.
