Contains 47 well-captioned photographs. 35 of these are black and white and appear to be of scenes from around the city of Detroit taken in 1977 which include public buildings, including three of Cobo Arena, Ford Auditorium, and various storefronts and factories, as well as a picture of a Detroit policewoman. More interesting are a dozen color images taken in 1967 right at about the time of the riots that show some of the destruction: a building on fire on Woodward Avenue, damaged or destroyed houses on Clairmont, Livernois, and Grand, a destroyed church on Clairmont, and other damaged buildings.
