A Curtain of Green First edition. Introduction by Katherine Anne Porter. Slight bump at the foot of the spine and light offsetting to the endpapers from the binder's glue else fine in near fine, price-clipped dustwrapper with a few light chips to the foot, a short tear at the bottom of the front flap fold, and the usual fading to the spine. This copy Inscribed to noted bookman Robert A. Wilson: "For Robert A. Wilson with best wishes, Eudora Welty." Additionally, laid in is an envelope from Wilson's stationery, addressed to the author, to which Welty has added in pen: "To be called for by Mr. Robert A. Wilson." The author's scarce first book, preceded only by a pamphlet. Rare inscribed. [BTC #37205] |
