Man heads to the frozen north to avenge his parents. This is one of several novels set in the north that we have taken to calling "westerns," only because we are unaware of a category "northerns." Since they both employ the same principles of rugged individuals struggling in the wilderness against nature and outlaws, we think we'll continue to call them westerns.
