Boy in the Wind First edition. Rubbing to the edges of the paper spine label, else a solid very good copy lacking the dustwrapper. Dillon's first book, his second won the Pulitzer Prize for poetry in 1931. Countee Cullen's copy, with his large bookplate, designed by the artist Charles Cullen, his Signature and a few penciled notes, which are almost certainly his. Books from Cullen's library, while not completely unknown to the market, are uncommon, as most of the books were reportedly absorbed into two separate institutional libraries. Additionally, a scarce book by an important contemporary of Cullen. [BTC #3599] |
