Inscribed by Edward Anthony to the great boxing champion: "For Gene and Polly Tunney, with the sincere regard of, Ed Anthony, December 10th, 1935." Anthony, a noted writer of humor and verse, was a New York Herald journalist, and the publisher of Woman's Home Companion and Collier's Magazine.
