A very uncommon anthology of farm stories including an early Jim Thompson story, "Mr. Simpson Makes a Sale," as well as stories by Bromfield, E.B. White, Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, George Sessions Perry, Jesse Stuart, and William Saroyan. A very nice copy and uncommon in jacket.
