Moderate rubbing and fading to the gilt spine and front cover, very good. Binder’s ticket: “Bound by Burn. 37 & 38 Kirby St.” on the rear pastedown. Illustrated with twelve fine "Baxtertype" color plates by William Dickes, one of the few engravers and color printers licensed by George Baxter, the inventor of the process, to master Baxter's color printing process. A handsome copy.
