[Promotional silk scarf]: The Man Who Made Friends with Himself [with] snapshot photograph of Morley

[1949].

Sold

Unbound. Silk scarf. Approximately 36" x 36". Old folds, still fine. Colorful silk scarf with yellow background on which is pictured a stack of Morley's older titles, but dominated in the foreground by a copy of *The Man Who Made Friends with Himself*, with that title repeated around the border, along with an accurate facsimile of Morley's signature. Accompanied by a 3.25" x 4.5" snapshot labeled on the verso, "John Mistletoe Bookshop 10th Anniversary," and identifying the three pictured as Morley, Frank Henry, and Eleanor Foote (Morley). Snapshot is a little faded at the edges, but image is clear and near fine. A curious and attractive example of publishing promotional material.
