Stapled printed red wrappers. 24pp. llustrated from photographs. Vertical crease, soiling to the wrappers, tear along the bottom spine fold, but a sound, good copy. Mostly consists of lyrics of the songs, a few pictures of the band, and a Dr. Pepper ad. The band leader and most of the band were from Western North Carolina, and founded the band in Greensboro before moving on to W.D.B.J. in Roanoke. Another member of the band, Tommy Magness, toured with Roy Acuff and his Smoky Mountain Boys, and later founded the Orange Blossom Boys. OCLC locates a single copy, at UVA. [BTC #301645] |
