Memo on the Marianas Edtion unknown. No date, but text reveal that at the time of publication the Japanese controlled the chain, which they did between December, 1941 and July, 1944. 24mo. 31pp., map. Stapled illustrated wrappers. Age-toning and a little wear, an about very good copy. Scarce pocket guide for sailors to the Mariana Islands, with a history of the chain, important information, and a glossary of the Chamorro language. The inside of the wrappers is a map of the island chain. Presumably issued before the U.S. re-took the chain and its principle islands: Guam, Saipan, and Tinian. OCLC locates but two copies.
