The Rousing of Parkside First edition. 12mo. Decorated papercovered boards. Spine toned and a little worn, a very good copy. Bookplate of author Kenneth Roberts. Full page poetic inscription from the author to Roberts. Rose was an advertising man and civic promotor of Cleveland (he wrote a respected history of that city), and the poem annoints Roberts' Boston second only to his own Cleveland. [BTC #299301] |
