Hardcover. First edition. Quarto. [16], 280pp. Woodcut title vignette and 11 (of 12) half-page copperplate engravings: 9 are printed on the letterpress sheets and 2 are tipped-in; lacks the first half-page engraving on page [12] (most likely issued thus). Contemporary full vellum, with later patterned endpapers laid on top of the original endleaves. Old speckled staining to the vellum, boards are a bit warped, still a pleasing very good copy of Van de Vennes' great ribald illustrations of the lowest orders of 17th Century Dutch society.
