First edition (preceding the American). Three volumes. Publisher's quarter cloth and papercovered boards with printed paper spine labels. Contemporary owner's name in each volume, some spotting and light staining to the boards, a very good set with some loss to the spine labels. Housed in a custom quarter morocco slipcase. Very scarce in the original publisher's binding.
