First edition. Fine in near fine, price-clipped dustwrapper, with the publisher's new price sticker, the slightest fading and a little soiling to the spine. Harper and Row changed the price to $4.95 prior to publication and virtually all copies released are either price-clipped and/or have had a new price sticker affixed as this copy does. Basis for the 1974 Sidney Lumet film Lovin' Molly with Anthony Perkins, Beau Bridges, Blythe Danner, and Susan Sarandon. A particularly nice copy of the author's second and scarcest novel.
