Hand-colored engraved title page, and 31 full-page plates with a total of 340 figures of individual shells, all hand-colored, plus an additional 16 internal illustrations printed in red. Front joint is tender, dampstains to the bottom margins of some pages, affecting none of the images, a good or better copy, with the images about fine.
