Second edition. Spine tanned, sticker shadow on rear board, about very good lacking the dustwrapper. Actress Eva Le Gallienne's copy with her bookplate on the front pastedown. Daughter of the French poet Richard Le Gallienne, Eva was a distinguished actress, producer, and director. She founded the Civic Repertory Theatre in New York in the 1920s. In 1964 Tony Award Special Award celebrating her 50th year as an actress, honored for her work with the National Repertory Theatre, and in 1977 she won a Theatre World Special Award. Le Gallienne directed the first Broadway revival of O'Neill's Ah, Wilderness!
