Between the Covers

Unbound. 7.5" x 9", framed to 12.5" x 15". Fine. Originally published in The Spectator, in 1828, this is a familiar scene from the popular culture of the time, a man standing at the printers' window, the child pickpocket making off with the preoccupied man's goods. The image has been hand-colored and quite nicely reproduced.
