WILDER, Thornton

The Long Christmas Dinner and Other Plays in One Act

First edition. Small stain on rear board and the boards are a little dusty, a very good plus copy in a very good example of the fragile Arthur Hawkins-designed dustwrapper with shallow chipping along the upper extremities. Inscribed by the author: "For Lieut. Richardson, from her friend Corporal Wilder. Fort Peterborough, The Campaign of 1932." What campaign the decidedly unmilitaristic Wilder was referring to remains shrouded in mystery. A nice inscription in an uncommon book.
