First edition. Contemporary owner's name on the verso of the front fly, else fine in fine dustwrapper. Two years in the life of a small town in Iowa. Suckow was an Iowan who got her start when H.L. Mencken accepted some of her stories for The Smart Set and championed her writing. She was one of the first of a school of regional novelists centered in the Midwest. A beautiful copy.
