Bright Ambush

New York: John Day Company, (1934).

Price: $500.00

Hardcover. First edition. Fine in a very good or better dustwrapper with the usual modest sunning at the extremities, a faint spot on the front panel, and some tiny tears. Inscribed by the author: "For Lee, with my love. Audrey. A very special copy!" Author's first book, winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry. If the author herself describes this as a "very special copy," who are we to argue?
