First edition. Some foxing to the first and last few leaves, as well as some moderate foxing to the boards else a nice, near fine copy with the spine gilt bright and unworn. A scarce title which includes many gems such as his immortal poem "Sympathy," about Dunbar's stint as an elevator operator and from whence comes the title of Maya Angelou's first book, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.
