Hardcover. Autograph Edition. 29 volumes (the publisher continued to add titles annually, this set lacks the final five volumes issued from 1934-1937). Tan papercovered boards with red cloth backstrips and spine labels, without dustwrappers as issued (not to be confused with the publisher's Definitive Edition, which had jackets but was smaller in size and unsigned). A few volumes slightly bumped (near fine) and the the spinal extremities of three volumes torn and frayed (good), all other volumes about fine, overall a very good or better set. Copy number 418 of 750 numbered copies of this first uniform edition, Signed by Sabatini in the first volume. In addition, although uncalled for, the first volume of this set also has a tipped-in manuscript page (usually found only in the green morocco bound copies). The manuscript page is from his early biography *The Life of Cesare Borgia*, published in 1912. *Knight & Darley* B1.
