First edition. Fine in near fine dustwrapper with a slight chip at the crown and a bit of rubbing. Inscribed by the author to his editor, Ray McGill: "7/28/75 To Ray, Who lent so much to the satisfaction the writer feels about this publication. Warmest thanks -- Mark." This play won the Outer Critics Circle, Obie and Drama Desk Awards. Medoff also wrote the screenplay for the film version with Marjoe Gortner, Candy Clark, Hal Linden, and Lee Grant. Published simultaneously in paperback, the hardcover was issued in very small numbers.
