First edition. Author and critic Tom Prideaux's copy with his ownership signature and a couple of light pencil notes, else fine in fine dustwrapper. The true first edition of this award winning play. Shaffer adapted his own play for the Milos Forman film which won them both Academy Awards, as well as Best Picture and Best Actor for F. Murray Abraham (co-star Tom Hulce was also nominated in this category for the title role).
