First edition. A couple of light bumps to the middle of the back board and the back panel of the jacket else about fine in near fine dustwrapper with one tiny tear and a small faint stain at the base of the spine. Mazursky directed the film version of this tale of a retired professor who treks cross-country with his cat. In his first major film role, television legend Art Carney won a Best Actor Academy Award, beating out Al Pacino in The Godfather Part II, Dustin Hoffman in Lenny, and Jack Nicholson in Chinatown.
