Between the Covers

Hardcover. First edition along with "Special Readers / Reviewers Edition." Octavo. 185pp. each. First edition is just about fine in navy cloth gilt with binding just a bit cocked and a ripple on the rear pastedown (a binding error). The Advance Reading Copy is very good with modest wear, a bit of soil, and sunning on the spine and cover. An unlicensed, vanity press-published sequel to *Lord of the Flies*, billed as a "continuation" of William Golding's classic novel. Surprisingly scarce. Based on the dates, *OCLC* seems to locate one copy of the Advance Reading Copy (under the name "Jody Glynn Patrick") and one copy of the first edition, neither of which are held by universities.
