Inscribed by Kingston, utilizing the printed title, to author Nicholas Delbanco: "Hi Nick, Happy [printed:Tripmaster Monkey]! Maxine Kingston 2000." Laid in is Kingston's business card, and the printed text of Delbanco's introduction of her at a reading. The third book and first novel by the award-winning Chinese-American author.
