The Kingfisher First edition. A faint sticker shadow else fine in fine, price-clipped dustwrapper with a touch of rubbing. Nicely Inscribed by the poet: "For David and Dorothy Schoenbrun whose friendship has been, and continues to be, an educational privilege -- with grateful affection, Amy Clampitt. Feb. 2, 1983." David Schoenbrun was a journalist who worked with Edward R. Murrow and was appointed by him as the head of the CBS Paris Bureau, and later a successful author. A collection of poetry, the author's first book published by a commercial publisher. [BTC #102395] |
