How do I cancel an order?
If you wish to cancel an order, just give us a call or send us an email. We handle all the transactions that come directly to us manually, so at no time do orders placed through our website automatically charge your credit card. However, if you want to cancel an order for one of our books that you have bought through another listing service, such as ABEbooks or Alibris, and you have paid them directly, you may have to make arrangements through that service in order to be properly reimbursed.
Can I return an item I purchased?
Any item can be returned to us within ten days, for any reason whatsoever (although we usually prefer a good one, and you are encouraged to fabricate a lengthy and improbable excuse if you don't have one) as long as it is in the same condition that it was when we sent it to you. However, if you intend to return a book, we ask that you notify us of this fact as soon as possible so that we may prepare ourselves psychologically. In the unlikely event that we have sold you a book that has been determined to be inauthentic or misdescribed, it can be returned to us at ANY time. (Note: we would like here to state categorically that we are perfect, but that would be misdescribing us, thus making us subject to return - and I doubt very much that you'd want us back, after we've been there slurping down the cooking sherry and raiding the ice box).
