How do you pack your books?
We pack as befits the material. Books are wrapped first in tissue paper, and then in bubble wrap. Orders over $50 are shipped in boxes rather than padded envelopes. We've shipped many thousands of books over the past 20 years and have yet to have a complaint of insufficient care in our packing (and often receive quite the opposite feedback). We've weathered complaints about our sorry sartorial choices, but never an unkind word have we heard regarding our packing. If you live underwater you might want to warn us, otherwise we should be fine.

What is your standard method of shipping?
Free shipping on all orders totaling $200 or more, via either UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail. Most single-book orders to street addresses are shipped via UPS Ground for $5. Orders to PO Boxes are sent via Priority Mail for the same amount. All shipping includes insurance. Tracking is provided free of charge on all domestic orders when we have your email address. We can accommodate most shipping needs and requests - just let us know in the comments box when ordering.

Do you ship overnight?
We ship overnight, and are happy to do so, or will otherwise attempt to accommodate your shipping needs, as long as you are reasonably specific about what those needs are, and are willing to pay the additional costs that we might incur in making expedited arrangements. Do you ship outside the United States?
Yes. A surprisingly large percentage of the books we sell are sold overseas or outside of the United States. Our customers report very good results with International Priority, and we usually ship via this method if possible. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your shipping needs or preferences. All books are shipped insured.
