For his latest cover Tom Bloom has once again dramatized current events at BTC, namely the continuous shelving of all the boxes hauled over from our old location, as well as boxes upon boxes of recently acquired collections. The books featured here include a couple of hundred from the same large collection we mined for Catalog 140 (and which we will be cataloging for many more months), as well as books from a more recently acquired smaller collection (only about 2500 books), and the personal archive of Nicholas Delbanco, a noted novelist and teacher to whom many of the more modern books herein are personally inscribed. |
