Mystery writer Ellery Queen (a pseudonymous collaboration of cousins Frederic Dannay and Manfred B. Lee) won five annual Edgar Awards, including the Grand Master award in 1960. Queen originally selected what he considered the 106 most important books published in the detective-crime field in 1948, and later added an additional 19 titles.
